Description

Maxiflo Inhaler is indicated in the regular treatment of asthma, where use of a combination (long-acting beta2-agonist and inhaled corticosteroid) has been found to be appropriate, and in patients with severe COPD.

Dosage and Administration
Asthma

Adults and Adolescents (12 years and older):
Maxiflo-125 Inhaler: 1-2 inhalations twice daily
Maxiflo-250 Inhaler: 1-2 inhalations twice daily

COPD

Maxiflo-125 Inhaler: Two inhalations twice daily
Maxiflo-250 Inhaler: Two inhalations twice daily

Maxiflo Inhaler may be used with a Zerostat VT Spacer device in patients who find it difficult to synchronize aerosol actuation with inspiration of breath.

Contraindications

Maxiflo Inhaler is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to formoterol or any other component of the drug product.
